The Staff and Aninamls of our shelter would like to offer our thanks to the many people and companies that have reached out to us with donations in the past few weeks. The shelter runs completely on generous support and we would not be here with our our donors!

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 344 for visiting our shelter on June 1st. The Troop was made up of 11-12 year old girls and they had a blast meeting our animals and seeing how the shetler runs. They presented a percentage of their profits of girl scout cookie sales to to us so homeless animals can be helped here.

We enjoyed the Joy Elementary School (Michigan City) 1st grade class field trip to MHS on May 6th. The children had the opportunity to meet some of our puppies and kittens. They took a tour of the shelter and learned about the care of animals. At they end of their time here, the 1st graders presented donations for the animals in the amount of $178.06. Thank you to all the 1st graders and the teachers for helping our animals.

We could not carry out our mission without the continued support of these and other wonderful people and businesses in the area. If your company or organization is interested in holding an adoption/donation event please contact us to find out more information on our program to get the word out!
